Retailing for around $150 bucks, the Voodoo Labs Pedal Power Plus is a fantastic option for those looking for a solid road worthy option for powering all of your many pedals.
What I like best about this power brick is that most simply, it is an organized way to cleanly power your pedals. Tons of […]

June 15th, 2008 Boss Reviews, Guitar Effects/Pedals | Post a Comment »

Now you are probably very familiar with with the Boss line of digital DD lines. I must say, their latest incarnation of this pedal may very well be the best I’ve seen. April 24th, 2008 Guitar Effects/Pedals | Post a Comment »

A truly distinctive effect can be found in the Korg KAOSSILATOR Dynamic Phrase Synthesizer, which has been turning heads since it’s release a few months ago.  What the hell is the KAOSSILATOR anyway?

Anything new from MXR deserves some time of discussion.  The quality of MXR is usually extremely high and they consistenly offer unique sounding effects that are less mainstream than say, Boss effects.
The MXR M169 Carbon Copy Analog Delay is just that, a purely analog path signal delay which attempts to bring us back to pre-digital […]

Review: Boss CS-3 Compression Sustainer Pedal

March 30th, 2008 Guitar Effects/Pedals | Post a Comment »

One word- Buttery magic. This pedal is one of my personal favorites in terms of sustain enhancer and performs very well. I think there are very few pedals that I can think of which will actually make and change my playing for the better.

Review: Boss LS-2 Line Selector Pedal

March 30th, 2008 Guitar Effects/Pedals | Post a Comment »

The LS-2 Line Selector pedal represents the easy way to switch settings among several effects devices or amplifiers, or route input and output signals. Two line loops and six looping modes gives a pretty good flexibility in terms of what you can do with these signals.

Review: Ibanez TS808 vintage Tube Screamer Reissue

March 23rd, 2008 Guitar Effects/Pedals | Post a Comment »

From wines, cigars, guitars, and now effects, everyone is trying to jump into the “vintage” market. I am usually pretty skeptical about marketing techniques and try my best to alert others about them.

If you happened to catch my review of Digitech’s RP50 multi effects guitar pedal, you will notice that I am not a huge fan of the RP line.
