For around $200 bucks the M-Audio Bx5a monitors are a welcome addition to any budget level or home studio that is looking for a no nonsense powered monitored which has clear, crisp, and accurate sound reproduction.
These 70 watt reference monitors can blast fairly loud with little if any distortion. I myself have a small home studio and tried out the M-Audio BX5a and found that it sounded as good as my monitors costing 3 times as much.
Like a pair of shoes, you need to try out these monitors for yourself in order to see whether or notyou like them. For my ears, I truly enjoyed them.
