If you are a reader of this blog you will instantly realize that Electro Harmonix guitar effects offers a pretty consistent base of quality and usually do not disappoint.
Essentially, when looking at anew guitar pedal it is important to look at a few key areas, the most important bring overall sound quality, followed closely by the setup and organization of the product, and finally usability. (review continued below...)

The Electro Harmonix POG poly octave generator is an ultra cool addition to the already incredible family of electro harmonic effects already out there. You can think of the POG has a high end octave pedal. Knobs include Dry, Suboctave, and Octave up, all of which are used well on the POG to deliver an incredible range of tones which for me, sound as good as a rack driven Eventude Ultraharmonizer costing thousands.
