The Ovation Ultra 2071 Guitar is one of my favorite new instruments these days. Basically, I have been an extreme fan of ovation acoustic guitars for a number of valid reasons.
First of all, the company took a chance with their unique Deep Contour GS body, which makes for one of the most comfortable cut away acoustic electric guitars on the face of the planet. (review continued below...)

For around $499, this guitar plays as good as it looks. This is one of the best acoustic guitars for soloing. I enjoy playing a lot of acoustic jazz and find that the action of the Ovation Ultra 2071 Guitar has smooth action even at the 12th fret and higher. The action feels anything but acoustic yet the sound is rich, warm, and lush. For the price I feel that you can't get a better built guitar with good features like this.
