Review:DigiTech RP1000 Guitar Multi Effects Pedal with Integrated Switching
Perhaps one of the ugliest Digitech effects yet, the RP1000 with integrated switching offers a good value considering the number of effects you are purchasing. Essentially, this RP1000 features 160 different effects and 200 generous presets in order to help you dial in the exact sound that you are looking for. Comes also with built in phrase looper (20 seconds) which is perfect for practicing guitar solos.
While it would take too long to go into every detail here the RP1000 features great clean sounding effects. The distortion based effects tend to sound a bit thin (no tubes in this baby). The distortion tends to not cut through a band very well. Other than that, Digitech has done a pretty good job of making the device fairly rugged and durable. This should last the test of time with well made components.
