Review: Marshall Mini Practice Guitar Amp- Instant Classic!
Everyone has probably seen this diminutive little amp around a music store, musiciansfriend magazine, or on the internet. However, not everyone has actually had a chance to use the thing. So many people write in asking for a quick review of the Marshall Mini Practice Guitar Amp.
First, retailing from $40-65 dollars this little amp has the complete look and even feel of a giant half stack Marshall amp down to every last detail. The amazing thing about this little guy is how much usable distortion can actually come from it! The lead knob is exceptional and, while the sound is overall lacking in the bass department (come on...this amp is smaller than a mouse) it does have very impressive sound. What is equally nice is the clean tones, which are quite nice.
You will be amazed by the might of this 1 watt Micro Marshall. The MS2 is the ultimate in portable battery or ac adapter operated micro amps, packing full Marshall tone into a tiny case measuring just 14cm x 11cm x 6cm (6"x5"x2.5") This mighty micro Marshall has switchable Clean and Overdrive modes. A Single tone control provides full focus of bass to treble.
