If you are looking for warm analog delay, the MXR M169 series pedal is your answer. This pedal's claim to fame lies in an all analog path with does not color the tone with ugly digital tones. The pedal itself retails for $159 bucks and is built from rock solid components that will last on the road. This design has amazing 600ms of delay time with modulation via a top-mounted switch and a simple, three-knob layout that controls Delay time, Mix (dry/wet blend), and Regen (delay repeats)-all in a pedal no bigger than a Phase 90.
Also, the M169 pedal has internal trim pots that offer user-adjustable width and rate control of the modulation for even more tones. The Carbon Copy effect pedal will take you from crisp "bathroom" slap echoes to epic, Gilmour-esque delays with a twist of a knob. True hard-wire bypass, single 9-volt operation, and stage-ready blue LEDs round out the package.
All in all a great pedal and even better experience.
