Review: Richmond Belmont Electric Guitar

This beautiful looking Richmond Belmont guitar has a fresh look with wide curves on the body and a fantastic looking headstock that is outfitted with equally impressive hardware which makes the instrument anything but a Fender Strat clone.

This solidbody has a neck constructed out of one quality piece if Mahogany which gives the guitar a good feel but still less heavy than a Les Paul. The scale length of the instrument is also 24 3/4" which really seems to maximize the available space for soloists to explore the upper frets.

As for electronics the Richmond Belmont features 2 single-coil lipstick, 1 Seymour Duncan '59 Humbucker in the bridge. The combination of these sounds is nothing short of impressive. The guitar has a great cutting tone yet full of bass and lower end body.

The excellent chrome Kluson machine heads round out this great instrument. Overall, a good value and great looking guitar can be found with the Belmont.
