Preview: Line 6 POD Studio GX Interface
Retailing for just $139, this guitar interface is a small and useful product for getting your guitar on your computer. The POD Studio GX is a USB 2.0 device which is alluring because it is based on the now famous POD Farm plug-in which has made Line 6 famous for hugh quality and value conscious solutions.
There is really no simpler solution for plugging your guitar into your computer. You will notice that the front of the device only has astandard 1/8" input (which can also accept bass) is complimented only by a line volume control. The back of the device offers USB connections.
If you are looking for a portable solution for recording demos on your computer, the POD Studio GX is a good low cost solution. Once you digitalize your signal you could actually use this interface with any pc or mac recording program (like Guitar Rig 3).
