The M-Audio Studiophile BX10 is a professional grade active subwoofer which sells for around $499.
The speaker is composed of a 10" composite cone with high temperature voice coil and damped rubber surround.
Rated regarding power amp as 240-Watt internal amplifier. Basically, the quality of this smooth bass tone may just rip your face off. As for audio connections the Studiophile BX10 features two XLR balanced inputs, two TRS balanced/ unbalanced as well.
For the price and features listed here you would be hard pressed to find a better performer in this price range. If your studio monitors are lacking in low end reproduction treat yourself to the Studiophile and you won't be dissappointed.
