Review: Randall Christian Olde Wolbers V2 Archetype Guitar Head
The Christian Olde Wolbers V2 Archetype is a monster of a head. If this gremlin were a boxer it would certainly be in the heavyweight category. This 400 watthead (yes, that is not a misprint, 400 actual watts) may actually cause a noticeable dent in your electric bill at the end of the month. The all tube wonder is outfitted with simply 4 tubes chosen for robust distortion flavors that sound like a fine aged steak tastes.
The tubes included are three Ruby 12AX7AC5HG's, and one 12AT7. With this head you have a total of three distinct chsnnels of sound, each fully customizable and switchable at your pleasure.
Controls include master volume, density and presence with seperate switches for attack and bright modes.
