This mini amp from Pignose Industries is my favorite mini amp ever created. The reason this amp has become an absolute success over the years is that it provides some really good tones in an ultra small package fir a good value.
The 7-100 Legendary Tweed retails for $137 and offers a huge 5 Watts of power designed into their inventive lunchbox design. The entire amp is enclosed in a box which can be opened up. Creative users can actually use a Pignose amp as a wah pedal by having a friend open and close the amp while the other is playing. This variation in tone replicates a wah wah pedal in a very strange way. There is simply one channel on this solid state class amp and a very simple control for volume. Distortion can be achieved only by cranking the guitar up to very high levels. Even then it is not it's purpose so don't expect it to be capable of blistering leads.
For great cleans and warn tones the Pignose 7-100 is awesome and can be found online for under $100 if you search the right channels.
