Digidesign has been a pioneer in the digital recording arena for a very long time. We all know that they can design great recording software, plugins, and hardware interfaces. They also seem to know best what a Pro Tools mixer needs to be.
The Digidesign C24 Pro Tools Mixer provides quick and accurate control of every single aspect of the Pro Tools software right at your fingertips. There is probably no better laid out console on the planet right now. The C24 has an absolutely dizzying array of input connection options and a 5.1 monitor section for use with film production.
The preamp section features an 8 channel stereo line submixer which comes in great hand when recording drums, live performances, or any mic intensive application.
You receive 24 fully bankable channel strips which, you guessed it, are fully automized. The C24 is compatible with Pro Tools HD 7.0,7.3, and 7.4 systems. Overall, my favorite aspect if the Digidedign C24 is probably the build quality, which is rock solid and well worth the $10,000.00 price tag. Enjoy!
