Review: MXL V900 Large Condensor Mic
The MXL V900 retails for around $199 and is designed from the ground up as a good looking and well performing middle of the road condenser mic.
It features a suspended condenser component surrounded by high quality materials.
This mic performed well in our quick tests when connected to our Pro Tools setup. We first recorded spoken word then vocals. Basically, this mic has an overall high frequency response with low noise levels.
More testing to come but so far the MXL V900 has proven itself as an excellent low cost mic.
