As promised, Apple released an updated version of their ultra popular music player a few days ago. It is amazing to me how many rumors about the overall look and design of this latest iPod were so dead on accurate.
The 4G iPod Nano is the thinnest iPod yet with a longer feel than the 3G version which allows for better viewing pleasure. It is constructed of glass and aluminum only and looks amazingly slick. Prices start at $149.
Apple knows that a revamped iPod line is just the thing to boost holiday sales and the timing of this release could not have been better. iTunes is also receiving some new features including all new redesigned look, creation of smart or "genious" playlists, and a sexy new visualization.
