Digidesign has just released some info suggesting that they will release a recording package retailing for $750. The package is designed to provide an all in one recording solution for Pro Tools users. Honestly, this package looks cool. The core of the package gas to be the Mbox 2, a Usb powered input system with a bunch of connections. Includes Pro Tooks LE software the big boys use. Also, Digidesign includes their Producer Factory Pro Plug ins. Basically, of you can hear a sound in your head, these plug INS will allow you to make the sounds.
A decent looking condenser mic, the M-Audio Nova, which has some good reviews.

Oh, you don't have any studio reference monitors? Have no fear- Digidesign includes the Studiophilr AV 40 speakers. They are good sounding and have a good low end. Buying these pieces seperately would set you back thousands. I think Digidesign has a winning recording package on their hands.
