Here in my opinion is one of the most respected guitar heads of our time, the Line 6 Spider Valve HD100W. I used to be a huge fan of Marshall heads until I played with this amp. You can think of this as the more modern, saavy player's guitar head.
Retailing for $800 bucks, this pro head is hundreds if not thousands of dollars less expensive than many in it's class, which means a big savings to you. I can really say that the sound of this head does not suffer for the price reduction either- stunning, rich, and full of cut.
If you are absolutely sick of the mess of wires caused by your endless stomp boxes, the effects power of this head will solve many problems. The list of effects and emulations available are too extensive to list here but believe me- this may be the loudest amp you have ever played!
I was so impressed with the amount of effects and features that I must have spent at least 2 -3 hours simply exploring the different sounds that this monster has. Head to your local music shop and check this one out- the tone of the distortion is completely legit and the effects and stomp box quality. Excellent for live gigs as well as recording.
