First of all lets be realistic: there's no way to get all those effects out a unit for a cheap price, so I would never replace single effect pedals. Why is this the case? Simply put, I feel that the sound of this unit is noisy, cheap, and the distortion effects are unuseable in the live, or even worse, recording setting.
The Digitech RP250 is a good system for a beginner guitarist or someone who is just starting a foray into effects.
Again, if you are familiar with my blog I will tell you that I clearly do not like the Digitech RP line for the above few reasons. Check out the official specs below but be careful, if something looks to good to be true (including the specs on the RP250) it just may be.
