I have been playing with my new 32 gig iPod Touch for the past few weeks and felt that the device deserved a bit of discussion here. Basically, I had held off on purchasing the iPod touch because I did not think my music collection would be given justice on the first machine's slim 16 gig capacity.
Apple has just recently released a 32 gig version of their popular iPod Touch device and the response has been impressive. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the iPod Touch, it is basically an iPhone for us people who do not want or need the AT&T telephone to go along with it. It can surf the internet via WiFi on Safari, download from iTunes, store photos, etc. For me, it has been the most portable mini computer I have ever known.
I travel a ton for my job and do not like lugging around a heavy laptop (especially through airport security). The iPod Touch has been an amazing device because it has allowed me to do almost everything I can do on a laptop in a super tiny device that fits into my coat pocket. I often write articles on the plane, respond to emails, and research products on the Internet all through this device.
