Review: Peavey PV6 Compact Mixer |

If you approach this product from the right point of view, knowing its inherent limitations well in advance, it is hard to argue with the notion that you do get a good value and decent features in the PV6 Mixer.
This tiny mixer is a 4 channel mixer that has a total of 6 inputs. Some good applications are for smaller live acts, drummers, or budget recording solutions.
The unit is constructed mostly out of good quality metal and has a heavy duty feel overall. I also give Peavey credit for allowing full 48V Phantom power on each input. Basic 3 band EQ is available on both channels and is fully assignable. I found the sound to be decent
enough for live applications but not clean enough for high quality recording.
If you are familiar with this blog you will note that I usually hate anything by Peavey. However, for around $90 bucks you can't really speak lowly of this item and I would guess that it will be a good addition to plenty of musicians arsenal.
