Review: Soundcraft MFX 8-Channel Mixer |

Verdict - quality item. Here's why: the people over at Soundcraft did a lot of things right when they put together the MFX 8 channel mixer, taking cues from more expensive Lexicon models while keeping their price down quite a bit (retails for $499).
What I like about this mixer is that The heart and soul of the device is the AudioDNA processor, which is found on more than a few high end 8 channel mixing boards. What you get is pure 24 bit audio resolution with two stereo effects channels and effects send on each channel. In total there are 32 on board effects to choose from. I found my biggest
complaint had to be with the inboard digital distortion effects. My advice is to stay clear away. The reverb is lush and very useful, however.
This mixer is definately in line with Soundcrafts other great boards and sounds professional for live gigs and even some recording application.
