I know what you are saying, Yet another review of a field recording device with ultra high quality sound? Yes.
The Olympus LS-10 Linear PCM Recorder is a good performer in this ultra saturated market. This item is not available until Mid-March and will retail for $399. What I am already impressed with is the fact that it ships standard with a 2 gig SD card. This high capacity card will definitely give you hours (between 3- 35 hours, depending on your quality setting).
