According to an interview with Billboard Magazine, Gnarls second album is almost completed and will be finalized through post production in the coming months. A name or number of tracks information has yet to be released. Cee-Lo has told Billboard that he is concerned about the stress and pressure of a follow up to the monsterous hit "Crazy". "I'm hoping that I don't fall out of grace with whatever I've done to deserve this to pass through me", says Cee-Lo.
I'm excited about this second album. Personally, I hope it is a more substantial offering from Gnarls. Essentially, the last album seemed more of a demo CD to me. The songs were all short (some of them just over 2 minutes in length). Will Gnarls be plagued by the one hit wonder syndrome or produce something which connects with mainstream radio? Only time will tell.
