Digidesign Mbox 2 Micro is perhaps the world's smallest Pro Tools LE system ever created. If you have been following the development of this product you will no doubt be familiar with the buzz that it has generated.
Here are the basics: the Mbox 2 Micro is about the size of a standard flash drive, and is made out of high quality anodized aluminum (same type Apple uses for their iPods) - review continued below...

The device is preloaded with the entire Pro Tools LE software including 50 powerful plug ins. Once plugged into your computer, you will notice a 1/8-inch stereo output and volume control. In my opinion this device is unnecessary if you already have the Pro Tools software. If you haven't yet experienced Pro Tools LE, the Mbox 2 Micro seems to be an affordable and flexible solution. For one low price you gain the ability to take your software anywhere with the flexibility of a standard 1/8 inch stereo output. You can edit in full 24-bit, 48kHz quality (just like the larger Mbox). Great for editing on laptops or on the road. Retails for $299.
