Line 6 Pocket POD Guitar Multi Effects Processor Review |

Take a look at this sucker. Small, fits in the palm of your hand, and offers some decent flexibility.
Before I continue with my pocket pod review, a word of caution: I generally do not like digital all-in-one processor effects which attempt to do everything under the sun...
That being said, I was pretty pessimistic when trying this device. Surprisingly, the Line 6 Pocket POD Guitar Multi Effects Processor packs a pretty convincing punch in a small frame. The Pocket Pod is slightly larger than an iPod Classic. When I first plugged my guitar into it I noticed the ease of use in tapping into common effects. I also was impressed about how highly customizable the presets were. These presents were designed well; most of them are highly useful and are left generic enough to allow for personal customization and styling.

For anyone familiar with digital effects, one question always asked is "How noisy is this thing?". Rest assured, the Line 6 Pocket POD is quiet as hell. Like I said before, I am generally not a fan of these all-in-one digital units, but the Pocket POD exceeded my expectation in this department. Line 6 has a history of solid circuity, and they seem to have spared no expense on the Pocket Pod.
Bottom line: the quality of the effects on the Pocket Pod rival single unit floor pedal effects, and the fact that they are all in one sleak, noiseless unit make this device a winner in my book. An extra cool feature is that by purchasing the POD you gain access to Customtone.com, which will give you another 5000 presets to use with your new Line 6 Pocket POD. For those of you used to the power and flexibility of rack mounted effects, you may be skeptical of the POD, as I was. However, if you value the above qualities in a sleak portable package, I highly recommend this sucker.
